Skin issue and hormons

Well, I have always had dry skin and sensitive skin. As a child had numerous problems, a lot of eczema due to unknown gluten intolerance. Going on a new skin routine has never been a fun exploring walk in the park as my skin always reacts with bumps and red patches. It’s temporary and I have to ease into the new product as my skin adjusts.

Unfortunately, my skin does not tolerate any sort of vitamin-C products. I get rashes and even if I tried numerous different brands my skin reacts immediately. I am allergic to fruits containing the vitamin as well (lemons, oranges, kiwi). Vitamin A products work fine.

Going through menopause, my skin have been even more sensitive and dry (as if the rest of the symptoms of menopause is not enough). I have been forced to step back and start over again, relearn how my skin (and body) works after the hormonal shift. And even if I am on HRT (thanks God), things are different. Yes – to be honest – I hate it, but I am still here and body have blessed me with wonders – no time to complain.

If you are a woman going through issues hang in there, be sure to moisturize drink plenty of water, and cut down on sugar – it’s a skin killer. Make time to readjust your routine and use products that are good and friendly for you! And don’t forget your vitamins and mineral stuck upon

  • Vitamin – B complex
  • Collagen
  • Vitamin – C

And when you are at it – enjoy the journey of getting to know a new you.
